Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do is a Family Martial Arts Education Center that teaches not only the skills of physical self-defense, but seeks to broaden the definition of what self-defense is and make it more relevant to today’s world.
Mrs. Erica Weber (or Miss Erica as her student call her), has been involved with the school for over 29 years and has been professionally teaching the Little Dragons program for 4-6 year old students the past 26 years. She loves teaching and working with children and teaches in a fun and motivating manner which enhances the positive development of her students. Many of her students have gone on to achieve 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd degree Black Belt. She has been an integral part in developing Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do into the premier martial arts studio it is today. She has worked alongside her husband, Mark Weber, in developing programs, policies, and interacting with instructors, students and parents in every aspect.
Miss Cogswell is a 6th Degree Black Belt and has been training at the school for 27 years. She also holds the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu. She became the Assistant instructor at the school in 2009. She earned her BS degree in Psychology from UW Green Bay in 2009 and has extensive experience in working with children. Miss Cogswell takes pride in everything she does and will go out of her way to help those in need at both the school and elsewhere. She is a well-respected leader at Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do and her other careers. She has organized a kick-a-thon for the past 10 years which has raised over $61,000 for local hospitals for Breast Cancer Awareness, and has helped lead many of the community projects and activities the school has participated in.
