Mark Weber

Mr. Mark Weber is the founder and instructor of Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do which has been serving Manitowoc and the surrounding area for over 44 years. He holds an 8th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, is a Certified Instructor in the Inayan System of Eskrima and is a Ni Dan (2nd Degree Black Belt) Instructor in Danzan Ryu JuJitsu. Mr. Weber is an open minded and progressive instructor who likes teaching and is good at it. He actively engages his students in projects involving kindness and compassion, bully prevention, and environmental self-defense projects. Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do is a Family Martial Arts Education Center that teaches not only the skills of physical self-defense, but seeks to broaden the definition of what self-defense is and make it more relevant to today’s world.

Erica Weber ​

Mrs. Erica Weber (or Miss Erica as her student call her), has been involved with the school for over 30 years and has been professionally teaching the Little Dragons program for 4-6 year old students the past 27 years. She loves teaching and working with children and teaches in a fun and motivating manner which enhances the positive development of her students. Many of her students have gone on to achieve 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd degree Black Belt. She has been an integral part in developing Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do into the premier martial arts studio it is today. She has worked alongside her husband, Mark Weber, in developing programs, policies, and interacting with instructors, students and parents in every aspect.

Nichole Cogswell

Miss Cogswell is a 6th Degree Black Belt and has been training at the school for 27 years. She also holds the rank of Shodan (1st degree Black Belt) in Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu. She became the Assistant instructor at the school in 2009. She earned her BS degree in Psychology from UW Green Bay in 2009 and has extensive experience in working with children. Miss Cogswell takes pride in everything she does and will go out of her way to help those in need at both the school and elsewhere. She is a well-respected leader at Lakeshore Tae Kwon Do and her other careers. She has organized a kick-a-thon for the past 10 years which has raised over $72,000 for local hospitals for Breast Cancer Awareness, and has helped lead many of the community projects and activities the school has participated in.
